The Four Seasons recently moved from Makanissa to the AU road below Mexico Square and now occupies the 6th floor of an apartment building overlooking the AU neighbourhood. Shortly the restaurant will introduce an outdoors grilled bar-b-q buffet for diners on the terrace.  This popular Asian restaurant has already been providing a delectable array of Asian delights including specialities from Japan, Thailand and Pakistan for some years. You will find all your favourites from Sushi to Pad Thai and Charcoal Grilled Bar-B-Q.  There is also a great selection of Asian salads and soups and of course starters including crispy spring rolls stuffed with vermicelli, chicken and/or vegetables.

 

Tofu can be quite bland tasting but Four Seasons use tofu in many of their dishes and the tofu is completely transformed whether stir-fried with sweet soya sauce or in a soup with crabmeat and/or seaweed and spring onions. Thailand’s favourite soup Tom Yom soup is a soup made from lemon grass and Thai herbs. Another delicious dish to sample is Thai Coconut Curry made with coconut milk, pineapple and herbs (or Mild Green or Red Hot Curry with coconut milk and Thai herbs (with chicken, beef or prawns as the protein).

 

Vegetarians or Vegans have plenty of menu options and tofu can usually be substituted for meat or chicken dishes. This describes just a small selection of dishes on offer and you may want to go with a group of friends as I did and sample a variety of dishes or select one cuisine one night and another cuisine on another visit!
